It looks like an oversized wasp. Huge! I've never seen anything like it.
In fact, I thought it might have been a queen looking for somewhere to start a new nest. After a bit of research it is looking more likely to be some sort of Sawfly.

Sawfly
Take a look at this monster that flew into my garage last weekend. I was quick to get out of the way.
It looks like an oversized wasp. Huge! I've never seen anything like it.
In fact, I thought it might have been a queen looking for somewhere to start a new nest. After a bit of research it is looking more likely to be some sort of Sawfly.
