Elixir Electric Guitar Strings

I've been trialling a set of Elixir strings on my Strat for about 2 months now and I can honestly say that they're as good to play today as they were when I first put them on. I'm using a set of 10s with... and I'm reading from the packet here... a patented NANOWEB(r) Coating. Hell yeah! It's worth it for the the name alone! Don't you just love anything Nano!

Elixir specialise in anti-rust strings, and boy do I need them with my sweaty paws!

I've been playing with 10s for a long time now. Elixir refer to this gauge as "LIGHT / .010 - .046". I don't know if it's just me, but I don't think that the Elixirs bend as easily as other strings I've used in the past. It's not a big deal; They sound bright and feel smooth and clean. I'm a convert.

The downside is that these babies cost about 3 times as much as your usual strings. I'm guessing that this will all even itself out in the long-run. The real clincher for me is the 'like-new' sound and feeling. They just keep on going!

I give Elixir strings a sweaty thumbs up. Go buy 'em!
