Sheet Music - "More Broadway"

This is an encore of sorts. My last post on this theme was a popular one, so here is another. I just bought a bundle of sheet music... one of those purchases where you haven't got a clue what might be included. I got lucky - there were some real gems in there. Here are some of my favourite pieces.

All of You, from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film Silk Stockings. Lyrics and Music by Cole Porter. (c) 1954.

A Pretty Girl is Like a Melody, from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film The Great Ziegfeld. Lyrics and Music by Irving Berlin. (c) 1919.

In a Kitchennette, from the Warner Brothers film The Gold Diggers of Broadway. Lyrics by Al Dubin. Music by Joe Burke. (c) 1929.

Lonely Girl, from the Paramount film Harlow. Music by Neal Hefti. (c) 1965.

I Used To Be Colourblind, from the RKO film Carefree. Lyrics and Music by Irving Berlin. (c) 1938.

Louisiana Hayride, from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film The Band Wagon. Lyrics by Howard Dietz. Music by Arthur Schwartz. (c) 1953.

Nevertheless, from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film Three Little Words. Lyrics and Music by Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby. (c) 1931.
